The Space Weather Prediction Center began use of Twitter on May 2nd as another social media outreach tool. Twitter, in addition to our continued use of Facebook, will be used as a means of informing the public about interesting or significant space weather events. Twitter, as with Facebook, will only be used by SWPC forecasters as time permits and mission priorities allow. Please check our official website at: www.swpc.noaa.gov or subscribe to our SWPC subscription services at http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/content/subscription-services in order to receive the most timely information, forecasts, alerts, warnings, and watches. You may find us on Twitter at NOAA Space Weather @NWSSWPC.
