Space Weather Webinar now Available for Viewing
A five-minute thesis webinar on space weather is now available for public viewing! The NOAA Central Region Collaboration Team hosted a special webinar on space weather for NOAA employees on Friday, 31 July 2020. This type of webinar is accomplished in a format used by many universities throughout the nation. Featured topics include space weather forecast processes, space weather impacts, advancement of space weather forecasts, space weather support for spaceflight, auroras, and much more. Presentations were divided into three sections: Introduction to Space Weather, Observations and Modeling, and Impacts and Customer Response. Each presenter was allowed two slides and five minutes to present. Presenters included SWPC personnel and other colleagues from NOAA, as well as partners from NASA, United Airlines, and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.
