Solar Wind Shock Observed - G1 (Minor) Geomagnetic Storm Warning Issued for 16-17 July 2017

An interplanetary shock, likely associated with the arrival of a coronal mass ejection (CME) from 14 Jul, was observed in DSCOVR solar wind data at 16/0515 UTC.  A G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm warning has been issued at is valid 16/0520-17/1500 UTC.
