Slight chance of G1 (minor) geomagnetic storm
After analyzing the M5/3n flare from Region 1745 we believe that the Earth has a slight chance of experiencing G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storming effects. Take a look at our latest ENLIL model that shows the bulk of the ejecta missing Earth with a possible glancing blow.
We are still experiencing S2 (Moderate) Solar Radiation Storms and should continue to see those effects for the next two days before dropping down to S1 (Minor) levels on day three.
