G2 (Moderate) Storm Warning in Effect until 21/2359 UTC

Due to escalating solar wind conditions and periods of favorable interplanetary magnetic field orientation, a G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm warning is now in effect through 21/2359 UTC (21/1959 ET). The G1 (Minor) storm warning has been extended and is in effect through 22/0300 UTC (21/2300 ET). G1 conditions were first met at 21/1612 UTC (21/1212 ET) and were reached again at 21/1927 UTC (21/1527 ET).  Continue to monitor our SWPC website for the latest updates and forecasts.
