G2 (Moderate) Storm levels were briefly reached on 15 March, 2023, at 1:59 am EDT (0559 UTC). This disturbance was related to ongoing CH HSS (coronal high speed stream) activity and additional responses to CME shock arrival at Earth as a geomagnetic sudden impulse at 12:28 am EDT (0428 UTC). G1 (Minor) storm levels had already been reached by 11:55 pm EDT on 14 March due primarily to CH HSS related responses. The sudden impulse escalated geomagnetic responses and G2 storm levels were reached a few hours later. Additional CMEs are still anticipated to influence Earth later today and on 16 March, and the G1 Watches remain in effect.
