G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storms forecasted for 07-08 October

G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storms forecasted for 07-08 October
published: Friday, October 09, 2015 13:54 UTC

Late on 07 October (EDT), SWPC forecasters are expecting the arrival of a large, equatorial coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS). Geomagnetic conditions are expected to increase to G2 (Moderate) conditions on 07 and 08 October as a result. On it's previous transit 27 days ago, enhanced geomagnetic conditions were experienced with this positive polarity CH HSS. Check back often for further updates.
