A G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm watch is in effect for the 23 and 24 February, 2021, UTC-days. A CME that occurred on 20 February, 2021, was analyzed and modeled, and it is likely that the flanking edge of the CME may arrive as a minor glancing blow late on the 23 February UTC-day. Any CME influences would likely continue into early on the 24 February UTC-day. Analysis indicated most of the transient will likely pass behind Earth's orbit, therefore, there are levels of uncertainty with this forecast. Please continue to monitor our SWPC webpage for the most updated information and forecasts.
