G1 (Minor) to G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storm conditions likely on 12-13 September 2015

G1 (Minor) to G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storm conditions likely on 12-13 September 2015
published: Sunday, September 13, 2015 21:26 UTC

The continued influence of an equatorial, positive polarity coronal hole high speed stream is likely to produce periods of G1 (Minor) to G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storms on 12 September through early on 13 September. Over the past 24 hours, this feature has produced geomagnetic storm activity up to G3 (Strong). Stay tuned for updates!
