
Anticipated CME arrival was detected at the NOAA DSCOVR spacecraft on 03 November, 2021, as an interplanetary shock at 03/1942 UTC (3 Nov/11:42pm EDT). This was followed by CME arrival at Earth as a sudden impulse by the GOES-16 satellite and ground-based magnetometers at 03/1957 UTC (3 Nov/11:57pm EDT). Geomagnetic response quickly escalated and reached G3 (Strong) storm levels by 03/2359 UTC (3 Nov/03:59am). This was preceded by G1 (Minor) and G2 (Moderate) storm levels at 03/2124 and 03/2146 UTC.
