G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storm Watch Issued for 23 April

G2 (Moderate) Geomagnetic Storm Watch Issued for 23 April
published: Sunday, April 23, 2017 09:27 UTC

SWPC Forecasters have issued a G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watch for 23 April, followed by a G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm watch for 24 and 25 April, due to continued influence from a recurrent, negative-polarity coronal hole high speed stream. Over the past 30 hours, numerous G1 and G2 storm levels have been observed. Check here for continued updates.
