UPDATE: G2 (Moderate) Watch in Effect for 4 and 5 June UTC day
A G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watch is in effect for the 4 and 5 June, 2016 UTC-day. A recurrent coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) is likely to impact Earth with up to a G2 storming response. This CH HSS effected Earth on 8 May (Mother's Day) with over 24 hours of geomagnetic storming up to the G3 (Strong) level. While the geomagnetic storming is not expected to be as intense as last rotation, data analysis suggests this CH HSS is is still likely to cause geomagnetic storming up to the G2 level.
