Filament Eruption Moving Towards Earth

A filament in the SW quadrant of the sun erupted late on 12 Aug around 13:32 UTC. An associated partial halo coronal mass ejection (CME) signature was observed in SOHO/LASCO C2 imagery starting at 12/1448 UTC. CME analysis suggests arrival at Earth on 16 Aug. G1 (Minor) storming conditions are likely with this event.
