Newly numbered Region 3615, that just rotated onto the visible disk, produced an impulsive M6.7 flare that peaked at 18/1519 EDT. Forecasters are monitoring coronagraph imagery for any evidence of potential CMEs that may have been associated with this flare, and will provide updates as they become available.
