NASA and NOAA will host an upcoming information session,
in support of the recent B.7 Space Weather Science Application Research-to-Operations-to-Research (SWR2O2R) announcement, with the aim to increase the success and timeliness of proposed projects in advancing toward eventual operational implementation.
To this end, the upcoming discussion session will be prefaced with an overview of the SWR2O2R program, a detailed description of the R2O2R process in tandem with the closely related NOAA Readiness Levels, and a discussion of existing operational capabilities and associated constraints in use at NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC).
This town hall discussion will be hosted via Google Meet on April 12 from 2pm - 4pm ET. All interested parties, particularly those planning to respond to the current solicitation, are highly encouraged to attend.
